About Jonathan
Born and raised in the DFW Metroplex, Pastor Jonathan Pena has been in ministry leadership since he was 19. He met and married his wife Mirna while they served together at a mission’s organization Global Youth Net, with an emphasis on leadership development and discipleship within youth ministries. Soon after, the Pena’s helped launch Hill City in Cedar Hill, Texas. By 2010, Jonathan & Mirna began pastoring The Ezekiel Project -- a vibrant, small groups-based youth ministry within the church. After years of discipling students, most of whom now lead the youth ministry, Jonathan & Mirna became Campus Pastors to establish the first campus of Hill City as they launched into Mansfield, Texas, in 2018. In 2024 Pastor Jonathan stepped out by faith to start Ravenbrook Ranch, a place where pastors and their families can connect with each other and God through hunting and the outdoors.
For over two decades, Jonathan has inspired both students and adults alike to passionately pursue Jesus. Known for his dynamic communication and gift for storytelling, he has a unique ability to bridge the truth of Scripture with practical application. His diverse ministry experience has opened doors to connect with people from all walks of life—across cultures, generations, and stages of faith—through messages that are both relevant and unforgettable. Jonathan and his wife, Mirna, live in Grand Prairie, Texas, with their two awesome children, Anaiah and Uzziah.
